I've never thought of her as cute, but i have more of the same reaction you did to her like "This character could/would look so much more evil if i were to actually meet her. In fact, i feel like she would gore and mangle me on sight just for the purpose of doing so."

I wouldn't go so far as to say that since she's the antagonist she HAS to instigate indisputable feelings of disgust at her figure, but she should certainly have more of a menacing presence to herself. But more of an adopted or acquired one rather than a natural rancidness.
